Clark D. Lauritzen | Chairman and President | First National Bank of Omaha
Clark is President of the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska, and serves as Chairman and President of First National Bank of Omaha. Clark joined First National Bank in 2003 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Banking, Wealth and Investments. While in that role, he also had responsibility for First National Bank’s markets in Colorado, Illinois and Kansas. Clark serves as a director of First National of Nebraska and First National Bank of Omaha; as a member of the Executive Committee
of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; and as a Knights of
Ak-Sar-Ben Governor. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.A. from Princeton University.
Michael A. Summers | Executive Vice President | Buildings and Finance, Chief Financial Officer
Mike joined the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska (FNN) as Chief Finance Officer in 2006. His direct responsibilities include Finance (including Business, Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Tax and Treasury), Corporate Insurance, Facility Operations and Procurement. He is instrumental in Strategic Planning and Alignment for FNN and its subsidiaries and is a board member for FNN and First National Bank of Omaha. After graduating from Creighton University in Omaha 1987, Mike joined Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he became a senior manager and developed a proficiency in the financial services industry by auditing and consulting with numerous small and mid-size banking clients. Since then, he has held various executive finance and operations roles at public and private companies in the technology, project management, energy and real estate industries. Mike has served on various not-for-profit boards and is currently an inactive certified public accountant.
Nicholas W. Baxter | Executive Vice President | Legal, Risk and Compliance
Nick joined First National in 1990 as a management trainee. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Risk Management, he is responsible for the management of the non-credit risk management infrastructure of the organization; specifically Enterprise Risk Management, Legal Issues, Compliance, Regulatory Agency, and Government Relations. Nick is active in the credit card acquiring industry and is past president of the Electronic Transactions Association. Nick was born in England and attended Malver College; Hull University; the College of Law, Chester; and the School of Law at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to moving to the United States in 1987, he was an attorney with a large commercial firm in Birmingham, England. Nick is also active in the local community, serving on various not-for-profit boards, including the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska.
Jerry J. O'Flanagan | Executive Vice President | Consumer Banking Group
Jerry serves as Executive Vice President, Consumer Banking, managing the bank's full range of consumer products and services. Jerry has been with First National Bank since 2006, first serving in marketing, credit risk, decision sciences and collections roles within First Bankcard, the bank's credit card division, and then leading First National's Credit Risk function since 2010 as its Chief Credit Officer.
Jerry's background includes three decades of credit, partnership, marketing and consumer banking experience. He has also held senior management positions with Citibank and JP Morgan in New York. He received his B.A. in Economics from Drew University and M.B.A. from Baruch College. Jerry serves on the board of Catholic Charities and as chairman-elect of the Nebraska Humane Society.
Stephanie H. Moline | Executive Vice President | Corporate Banking
Stephanie has been part of the First National Bank family since 1982 when she joined the bank's management trainee program. In her current position, she is responsible for the Corporate Banking Group which provides banking and cash management services to corporate and commercial customers of First National Bank. Moline received her executive degree from Darden Business School at the University of Virginia and her undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan. Stephanie is active in the community, serving on the boards of many philanthropic organizations.
Michael S. Foutch | Executive Vice President | Customer and Employee Experience
Mike joined First National Bank in 1984. Currently, he serves as Executive Vice President, Customer and Employee Experience. Mike is responsible for Enterprise Customer Experience, Human Resources, Technology, Operations and Business Intelligence and Data Governance. He is a member of the Board of Directors for First National Bank. Mike has served on various not-for-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and WELLCOM Board Ambassador Group.
David E. Cota | Executive Vice President | Wholesale Banking
David oversees First National’s Wholesale Banking Group, which brings together the bank’s Corporate Banking, Commercial Lending and Wealth Management divisions. He also has responsibility for First National Bank’s markets in Colorado, Illinois and Kansas and serves as a board member and director of First National Bank of Omaha. He joined First National in 1999, and previously served as Executive Vice President of the Wealth and Investments division, which included First National Bank's Wealth Management, Investment Services and Tributary Capital Management businesses. David is a graduate of Texas Christian University and maintains an active involvement in the community serving on a number of non-profit boards.
Jeff A. Sims | Executive Vice President | Chief Credit Officer
Jeff A. Sims serves as executive vice president and Chief Credit Officer. He is responsible for the overall credit risk for all First National of Nebraska (FNN) banks, including First National Bank.
Sims has been with First National since 2000, serving in a variety of roles, most recently as senior vice president and Chief Commercial Credit Officer, responsible for commercial lending quality and portfolio concentration mix for all FNN banks.
Before joining First National, Sims worked for Bank of America in Quincy, Ill., as Senior Banking Executive and Group Leader. With more than 30 years in banking, Sims has also worked for First Interstate of Iowa and Boatman's Bank, Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Iowa State University.
Roger A. Fleury | Executive Vice President - First National Bank | President - Financial Service Company
Roger has 35 years experience in the financial services industry. Roger’s experience includes nearly 26 years with the Lauritzen Corporation and its affiliates. His service with the Lauritzen Corporation included approximately six years managing and consulting with the Lauritzen Bank group largely involved in agricultural lending and financial services in rural communities. Roger was the President of Diversified Financial Services, a Lauritzen Company affiliate for the past 20 years until July 1, 2013.
His current position involves managing the holding company which oversees 14 community banks in the organization as well as Diversified Financial Services, The Harry A. Koch Company and a number of insurance agencies. Roger’s experience also includes examining National Banks for the U.S. Treasury Department, serving as a Legislative Assistant in Washington, D.C. for a U.S. Senator on the Senate Banking Committee, and as President of a suburban bank in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mark P. Driscoll | Market President | Colorado
Mark joined First National Bank in 1980. During his tenure at the bank, he has served various management and lending roles, and most recently as President of First National Bank's Colorado locations. In addition, Mark worked at Colorado State University for seven years - four years as assistant football coach and three years as Director of Athletics. He currently serves on many not-for-profit boards. Mark received his B.A. in Business Administration and M.B.A. from Colorado State University.
David J. Janus | Market President | Kansas
Dave began his commercial banking career in 1979 and has worked for banks in Michigan, Ohio, Kansas and Missouri. His experience in commercial lending includes relationship and sales management, credit administration and portfolio management. Prior to being named Market President of First National Bank's Kansas locations, he served as regional president of M&I Bank in Kansas City. Dave graduated from Michigan State University in 1978. Dave has served on numerous boards over the years and today serves on the boards of the Kansas City Area Development Council, the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Committee (Minority Business Inclusion/Development Council), the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City (Finance Committee) and is a member of the Civic Council (Investment Committee and KC Tomorrow advisory board).
Timothy A. Struthers | Market President | Illinois
Tim began his banking career with Castle Bank in 1980, holding a variety of positions before becoming president in 1997. Castle Bank became part of First National of Nebraska in 2002. Tim received his B.A. in Finance and his M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. He also completed the BAI Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin. Struthers has served on numerous boards over the years and today serves on boards of the DeKalb Sanitary District, Illinois Council on Economic Education, Illinois Bankers Association, and the Northern Illinois University Foundation.
