FlexPlan Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can take care of certain expenses with pre-tax income thanks to our FlexPlan flexible spending accounts, which set aside pre-tax dollars every month for needs such as non-reimbursed medical expenses or child care.
Short and Long-term Disability
Employees who experience unexpected illness or injury are covered by short- or long-term disability protection. Short-term disability benefits are paid for a maximum of 13 weeks. Long-term disability benefits begin after a 90-day elimination period.
With our employee 401(k) program, employees can contribute any amount of their salary into a retirement fund on a pre-tax basis. The funds are invested, and taxes on the original investment are deferred. First National Bank Southwest makes a contribution to employees' 401(k) funds based on employee eligibility, which is determined by time of service and hours compensated in a given year.
All eligible employees are covered under a life insurance policy – at no cost to them – that provide coverage equaling two times the employee's annual salary, up to a maximum of $500,000.
Supplemental Life Insurance
Employees may choose to purchase supplement life insurance through First National Bank Southwest – for themselves and/or for spouses and dependents – that covers up to five times the employee's annual salary, with a maximum of $500,000.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Employees and beneficiaries are entitled to receive up to two times their annual salary, up to a maximum of $500,000, in the event of accidental death or dismemberment.
